Course info
The course provides a thorough grounding in the principles and methods of typeface design. We incorporate the study of historical and theoretical issues as well as practical learning. The programme also aims to give an understanding of the potential and constraints of current technology and to equip graduates with the skills to design and produce their own digital typefaces. The course covers the following modules: Typeface Design; Principles and Applications; Typeface Design Practice and a substantial dissertation.

2007 Fees - £3,500 FT; £1,925 PT

Entry Requirements
Good Honours degree or equivalent in any relevant field. We may ask for material evidence from any applicant. Professional experience in various fields may also be considered as suitable preparation. Applicants from whom English is not a first language should provide evidence of fluency in English: IELTS score of 7.0, TOEFL paper-based version score 600, TOEFL computer version score 250, UCLES (CPE): C, TEEP: 7.0.
