Course info
The course covers the technology and applications of renewable energy, with emphasis on the environmental and social context. It consists of lectures, laboratory work and tutorials in topics including: Wind Energy; Hydro Energy; Solar Energy; Biomass and Engines; Energy and the Environment; Meteorology as Applied to Renewable Energy; and Carbon Management. Practical work, a field trip and site visits.
