This course provides comprehensive training together with reviews of actual events which enables first aid to be administered to a casualty within the workplace. Each candidates competency will be assessed in accordance with the health and safety executive guidelines. It covers principles and priorities of first aid; casualty assessment; practical resuscitation; treatment of an unconscious casualty; heart attacks; wounds bleeding and shock; burns and scalds; fracture management; accident reporting; first aid kits.
