If you are a newly promoted first line manager – or hoping to become one! The Practical Manager gives an excellent introduction to basic management skills. What’s more, it can count towards an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Introductory Certificate in First Line Management. Flexible, practical and jargon-free, The Practical Manager takes the mystery out of management – and gives you the confidence and skills to improve your own performance and that of your staff. The Practical Manager first covers the three compulsory sections of the ILM Certificate, you can then choose a further seven segments from 22 different courses.
